Frequently Asked Questions
Steel Knives
DISCLAIMER
All knives arrive extremely sharp and should be handled appropriately.
If knives are used in a manner inappropriate to their design (ex. using a knife as a screwdriver) there is a risk of damage Nemo's Forge will not be responsible for.
Knife Care
- Never put your knife in the dishwasher
- Immediately dry your knife with a towel after washing
- Use a leather strop to hone your knife
- Use your knife only for what it’s intended use
- Use a whetstone to sharpen your knife
Sharpening
We strongly advise using a sharpening stone for both sharpening and honing since movement is controlled and the amount of steel removed from your blade is much more precise.
Damascus & Carbon Knife Care
If you happen to acquire one of our carbon or Damascus steel knives, please do take note that these types of steel may rust over time.
To avoid this, always keep your knife dry with a dry towel beside you when you prep. They will also develop different shades and color. This is okay and it actually helps the blade not rust over time. Occasionally wipe down with food grade mineral oil to help protect against rust.
LED Knives
DISCLAIMER
This is not meant for use as a weapon or tool. Nemo's Forge will not be held liable for misuse
Care and Safety
While made of 6mm thick acrylic and re-enforced in the handle, acrylic is still rigid plastic. If pressure is applied, especially to the flat side, there is a chance it will break.
Nemo's Forge is not responsible for broken blades once received.
LED Function
The LED board features two super bright LED’s that can cycle through 7 different colors, offers flashing and solid modes, a rechargeable battery, and a charging port along the spine of the handle that can keep the blade lit with external power or between 20-60 minutes on battery.
To activate the LED board pull one of the handles away from the knife (they are connected via magnets with one permanently fixed and one that can disconnect) and hold down the small metal button on the board. Press the button again to cycle through modes.

Grisly Chapeau Hats
Handling & Care
These hats are a delicate fusion of artistry and fashion, blending felt, acrylic plastic, and slender wooden frames. While they're not overly fragile, they are not indestructible either. To maintain their beauty and longevity, kindly avoid rough handling, sitting on them, or placing heavy objects on top. When not in use, store them in a safe place away from potential hazards.
For cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals.
